Zimuer ("the Extension") is a browser extension that extracts subtitles from YouTube and Bilibili video pages. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

Zimuer does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

Specifically:

• We do not collect your browsing history
• We do not collect your YouTube or Bilibili account information
• We do not collect the subtitle content you extract
• We do not use analytics or tracking tools
• We do not send any data to external servers

How the Extension Works

All subtitle extraction happens entirely within your browser. The extension:

1. Reads subtitle data that YouTube or Bilibili has already loaded in your browser session
2. Displays that data locally within the extension panel
3. Allows you to copy subtitle text to your clipboard

No data leaves your device at any point.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• Host permissions for youtube.com and bilibili.com — required to inject the subtitle panel and read subtitle data from video pages
• clipboardWrite — required to copy subtitle text to your clipboard when you click the copy button

Third-Party Services

This extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
